Aaron Judge has placed himself at the top of the New York Yankees’ all-time list with his historic season.
He scored two home runs against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night—his 56th and 57th year—inches close to breaking Roger Maris’ American League single-season record of 61 home runs (quite an argument given steroids is the correct record). Era).

He may be the Sox’s arch rival right now, but the impending free agent can’t help but be surprised at the idea of actually playing alongside them in 2023.
The judge was asked if he would consider signing with the Red Sox in the off-season – he blushed, and didn’t quite pull it off.
“We’ll talk about it at the end of the year.” he told reporters After the Yanks’ 7-6 win on Tuesday.

Aaron Judge closes two home races to history
The judge is due for quite a payday – he currently scores home runs (57), RBIs (123), on-base percentage (.414), slugging percentage (.692), ops+ (209), total bases in all baseballs leads. 352), scored (116), WAR (9.0), and deliberate walk (16). His 88 bases on balls is an American league high, and his .310 batting average is the fourth-best points in the AL as he tries to obtain the Triple Crown (Luis Arrez of Minnesota leads the AL at .319).
And it looks like he wouldn’t mind putting those numbers up in front of a new fan.
“It’s the best, they’re some of the best in baseball. They’re going to boo you, they’re going to say some things, they’re going to make you laugh,” Judge said of the Boston fans. “It’s all part of that. There’s great history here, and it’s one of the best places to play, so it’s always fun to go out there and try to do a show for them.”
