Four Philadelphia Eagles fans who claimed they were injured when a railing fell at FedEx Field filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the Washington Commanders.
As if Commander weren’t in enough legal trouble, the new suit says fans were injured when they were trying to congratulate quarterback Jalen Hirts after a win and a railing broke, causing him to fall to the ground.

After the January incident a team official told ESPN that the collapsed area was designed for people with disabilities and to hold only six people in wheelchairs, with one person from each of those six. .
Bob Sokolov, a lawyer for the alleged victims, said stadium staff did not stop anyone from entering the arena and leaning on the railing. The railing was reportedly held together with a zip tie.

“The security measure in such a high-visibility, high-trafficked area is beyond reckless,” Sokolov said. “Whether it’s an NCAA game or a pro basketball game or the NFL, everyone gets into the tunnel where the players are coming out. The weight of everyone moving forward to get a high-five or wristband or whatever puts more pressure.” Otherwise there were pathetic railings.”
At the time, the commanders issued a statement saying that no one was seriously injured, and that “to our knowledge, all those involved had been offered an onsite medical evaluation and were at their respective stadiums.” had left.”

According to ESPN, the injuries he reportedly suffered included cervical strains, muscle strains, bone bruises, cuts, headaches and “other potential long-term effects, both physical and emotional.”

“I’m just happy that everyone is safe from it. That crazy stuff is right there,” Hurts said after that game. “It was a real dangerous situation. I’m just so happy that everyone backed out of it, it seemed. Passionate Eagles fans. I love it.”
