A few of Venice’s small canals are drying up amid unusually low tides and an absence of rainfall, making it troublesome for gondolas, water taxis and ambulance boats to navigate the Italian metropolis.

The declining water ranges within the canals are linked to a mix of points, together with extended low tides and a high-pressure climate system over a lot of Italy. Muddy canals have disrupted some transport and vacationer companies in a metropolis with no automobiles.
