Rosemont, IL. David Works has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer of US Foods Holding Corp. He will report to the company’s President and CEO, Pietro Satriano.
Mr Works Hackensack joins US Foods from Meridian Health, where he was chief human resources officer of the not-for-profit health care organization. Prior to this, he was President of the Enterprise Business Unit at Windstream and Chief Human Resources Officer at Windstream. Prior to this, he was president of talent and human capital services at Sears Holdings Corp., a partner at ghSMART, an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, and an engineering group leader at Motorola. Mr Works spent the first seven years of his career as a submarine officer in the US Navy.
